Guest columnist: Pledge only as good as work behind it

Some of the most important questions facing Kentucky don’t fit neatly into partisan categories. How do we encourage economic growth without letting powerful corporations write the rules? How do we control government spending while protecting services people depend on? And when government does step in, how do we make sure it actually solves the problem?
