Guest columnist: Kentucky working on access to maternal care
Less than a week after a March of Dimes study brought attention to the fact that almost half of Kentucky’s 120 counties are classified as maternity care deserts, state regulations were approved to clear the way for freestanding birthing centers will provide expectant mothers with another option.
