Fred Wingate

Fred “Freddy” Lane Wingate, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026, at his sister’s home in Menifee County.
The son of Scott T. Wingate and Naidra Jean Lane Wingate, he was born on May 17, 1952, in Frankfort, Kentucky. A proud 1972 graduate of Frankfort High School, Freddy dedicated 27 years to serving the Commonwealth of Kentucky through his work with Kentucky State Government.
