Franklin County’s middle school golfers take second in Kentucky Junior Cup

The middle school members of Franklin County’s boys golf team competed in the Kentucky Junior Cup Saturday at the Geldhof Academy Short Course (par 27) in Lexington.
The team played in the nine-hole tournament and finished in second place with a score of 104, falling two shots short of Sayre, which took the team title.
FCHS’ Sutton Stewart finished second overall with a five-over-par 32, and Aiden Moore and Jack Hix rounded out the scoring.
