Frankfort Avenue restaurant to close temporarily for big renovation project

Volare Italian Ristorante will close on Aug. 27 for four days for an extensive interior facelift.This is the first time this 13 year old Italian restaurant has received a renovation like this, according to a news release. It will include new custom furnishings and lighting selected by Volare’s design team.Designers also picked a lighter wall color to brighten the interior and the existing artwork.
