Fire at Frankfort High closes school for the week

A fire at Frankfort High School over the weekend has caused the school to close for the week.
Frankfort Independent Schools Superintendent Dr. Sheri Satterly said in a post on ParentSquare.com that the fire occurred around 5:15 a.m. Sunday. The fire was contained to one classroom, but damage from the sprinkler system and the fire department was extensive.
No one was injured in the blaze.
While FHS will be closed this week, students are required to complete virtual instruction Tuesday through Fri
