Though a minor-league baseball season isn't expected to happen in 2020 because of Covid-19, players who would've made up the first Wichita Wind Surge Triple-A team will be paid through the regular-season calendar.The Miami Marlins, the major-league parent of the Wind Surge, will continue to pay its minor-league players a minimum of $400 weekly through August.
