Airbus lands $8.6 billion narrow-body order from Saudi Arabia

Airbus has reached an agreement with Flynas, a Saudi Arabian budget airline, for 60 A320neo narrow-body aircraft.The company said in a press release that the airline also converted 20 existing orders to A320neo jets, bringing its total firm orders for the aircraft to 80.The new orders and the conversions have a combined list value of around $8.6 billion.Each aircraft will arrive to Flynas — deliveries are slated to begin next year — with ties to Wichita.Airbus’ local engineerin
