Roundabout Construction in Lawrence Update

LAWRENCE — Following several project delays related to utility work, the City of Lawrence has received confirmation that the remaining utility work at 75th Street and Oaklandon Road is expected to be completed and turned over to the contractor, Howard Companies, on Monday, Aug. 17.Beginning August 17, the intersection will be fully closed so construction of the new roundabout can begin.
