IMPD Launches Rideshare Pick-up and Drop-off Zones

INDIANAPOLIS — To help keep everyone safe and moving smoothly on busy weekends, IMPD is launching designated rideshare pick-up and drop-off locations in downtown Indy every Friday and Saturday night from 11 p.m. – 4 a.m.These zones were created in partnership with Uber and Lyft to make it easier for drivers and passengers to connect — especially since S. Meridian Street is typically closed on weekend nights between Georgia St. and South St. for public safety. The locations are:
