Chicago Chefs Gather to Celebrate ‘The Breakfast Queen’

It was a celebration for a queen — the Breakfast Queen.
Earlier this week, a group of Chicago chefs celebrated the 80th Birthday of culinary legend Ina Pinkney, best known as the Breakfast Queen.
Pinkney owned and operated a brunch restaurant that bore her name for over 30 years before it closed in 2013. Yet, she helped, encouraged and mentored many along the way.
So this luminary received her “flowers” when the philanthropic group Chicago Chefs Cook hosted her birthday celebra
