CHA receives $240k for outreach on program that provides resident internet, device discounts

The Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) is one of two housing authorities in Illinois to receive funding from the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) for an Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program (ACP) called “Your Home Your Internet.”
The ACP, which provides internet and device discounts to public housing residents and voucher holders, allows eligible CHA households to receive up to a $30 monthly discount on their internet service, and a one-time discount of $100 to purchase
