Webb County receives only $37K in coronavirus relief funds from state government

The City of Laredo on Wednesday received $2.8 million from the Texas Department of Emergency Management to help pay for emergency expenses during the COVID-19 crisis, a small apportionment of the $11.2 billion the state received and is meant to disburse from Congress’ CARES Act.
