Weakened Beryl moving to Caribbean; Chris forms in Atlantic

A weakened Tropical Storm Beryl, what had been the season's first hurricane, moved rapidly westward early Sunday toward the Caribbean Sea. Off the East Coast, Tropical Storm Chris formed about 4 a.m. Sunday, but was not expected to pose a threat.
