Unloading Houston property, UT System to ask for proposals by spring 2018

The University of Texas System is inching toward selling the controversial Houston property it purchased for a now-defunct idea of a new campus. Regent Jeff Hildebrand, who is leading a task force on unloading the property, said Tuesday morning at a board meeting that the system will issue a request for proposals by the end of spring 2018.
