Trump's budget cuts whooping crane breeding program, but Texas' population largely spared

President Donald Trump's budget proposal for the coming year would cut programs that prevent the extinction of endangered species, such as the whooping crane. Luckily, the population that winters in Texas largely would not be impacted because they self sustaining.
