The 2018 hurricane season will not be as bad as last year, forecasters predict

On Thursday, the Colorado State University Tropical Meteorology Project team released its predictions for this year's hurricane season that runs from June 1 to Nov. 30. They predict 14 storms could emanate from the Atlantic ocean this hurricane season -- but they likely won't be as intense as 2017.
