Sylvester Turner with wide lead over Tony Buzbee in early voting returns

Mayor Sylvester Turner opened election night with a wide lead over Tony Buzbee, according to early voting and mail ballot returns that showed the mayor within striking distance of an outright re-election win Tuesday evening.
