Student activism on gun laws won't ding your Rice University application, school says

Rice University joined top colleges nationwide on Sunday in announcing that peacefully protesting will not negatively impact a student's application for admission. The statement comes as some schools -- including Needville ISD -- threatened to suspend any student who walked out to protest current gun laws.
