Storms, showers expected to increase flooding in Liberty

A series of showers and thunderstorms are expected to sweep across the region and cause additional river flooding to areas north and east of Houston. According to the weather service, the Trinity River at the city Liberty is forecast to go into a moderate flooding stage.
