Six weeks after Harris County flood bond passage, $1.4B in projects underway

Six weeks after Harris County voters approved a $2.5 billion flood bond, work has begun on more than $1.4 billion in projects. Commissioners Court on Tuesday gave permission to the flood control district and engineering department to begin work on around $400 million worth of projects.
