Republican spends $5.9M in Houston area congressional race

Houston Republican Kathaleen Wall has now spent more of her own money to win a seat in the U.S. House than any Texan over the last 16 years. New campaign finance reports released Thursday show Wall has now given her campaign $5.9 million since she jumped into the race in November. Just from Jan. 1 to Feb. 8, Wall gave her campaign about $3.2 million.
