One student dead, two people in custody after shooting at HISD’s Bellaire High School

Two people were taken into custody Tuesday night related to the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old student at Bellaire High School, according to the City of Bellaire and Houston ISD Interim Superintendent Grenita Lathan.
In a statement late Tuesday, Bellaire police said they apprehended the pair at about 7:30 p.m. but did not release any additional details. Their relationship to the victim is unclear.
