Officials: Tuesday primary has ties to 1990 race

Tuesday's Democratic primary outcome that pushed two gubernatorial candidates into a May runoff has curious ties to the  governor's race in 1990 that eventually propelled Ann Richards into office, officials noted Wednesday.
