Officials look for solutions to flooding in Katy, greater Houston area

Eric Grossman has called Westside Forest, a gated community of 23 single-family homes north of Mason Creek, home since 2004.
For 16 years before that, he lived on the south side of Mason Creek in Nottingham Country subdivision. While his home didn't flood after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released water from the Barker Reservoir which was filled by rains and upstream water brought by Hurricane Harvey, he has friends who incurred flood damage not only in Westside Forest but also Lake Forest
