Morgan's Point complying with Harris County marijuana diversion program

The chief of police of Morgan's Point said Wednesday that the small city of 350 people near Galveston Bay is participating with a county-wide misdemeanor marijuana diversion program, although they have not referred anyone."We're a small department," said Chief Sherri Ditrich after a Houston Chronicle analysis showed several jurisdictions, including cities along the bay and educational institutions, had not referred anyone to District Attorney Kim Ogg's signature program since it began in March.
