Marine warning issued for Galveston Bay; intermittent storms expected throughout Houston area

Boats advised to move to safe harbor in Galveston Bay during strong thunderstorm causing wind gusts at 34 knots or greater, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory was issued at 12:52 p.m. and will be in effect until 1:30 p.m.
