Man arrested after SWAT standoff in NW Houston

Police were called to the man's house in the 6400 block of Wilshire Lakes, near Tidwell and Hollister, at 7:15 a.m. after the woman told authorities he had been calling and texting her since 1 a.m. She also said she was concerned about his well-being when he ended their conversation with threats of suicide, said Lori Bender, Assistant Chief of the Houston Police Department.
