Lupe Valdez touts Dan Patrick in fundraising for Dem gubernatorial runoff

All of a sudden, Republican Dan Patrick has become Lupe Valdez' s best friend in her Democratic runoff race for governor.In a new fundraising pitch, Valdez cites Patrick's criticism of her on conservative talk-show host Laura Ingraham's show as proof that Valdez "is the strongest candidate" to take on Republican Gov. Greg Abbott in the November general election.
