Student activist group opposes armed teachers
Dear Editor,
We, as members of Students Demand Action of Montgomery County and attendees of Conroe Independent School District high schools, strongly oppose any effort to encourage, expand, or prioritize arming teachers or any other school staff. If lawmakers want to prevent school shootings, instead of arming teachers and staff we must adopt common-sense solutions to prevent potentially dangerous individuals from obtaining guns in the first place.Te
