‘Let’s read aloud’

You may remember, especially if you liked 1st grade reading group, the thrill of being called on to read aloud.
Whenever your name was called, you’d best be following along as other readers took their turn because woe be unto anyone who didn’t know the place … and second, you would have smoother sailing if you’d learned, ahead of time, how to recognize and pronounce any new vocabulary words found at the end of the chapter.
