Legacy of Literacy Day

Families with children gathered to celebrate the Legacy of Literacy Dayon Saturday morning in the northeast Houston neighborhood of Denver Harbor.At the Head Start literacy event, which was open to the public, children played games, won prizes, completed arts and crafts, had their faces painted and chose books to take home after listening to story-time reading sessions.
