Lake Houston Area golf teams dominate district championships

District 21-6A
Both the Kingwood boys golf team and girls golf team finished in first place at the District 21-6A championship at The Atascocita Golf Club on April 2-3.
The Lady Mustangs shot a total combined two round score of 621. They will next play at the 6A-Region III championship at Eagle Pointe Golf Club in Baytown on April 24-25.
The Kingwood girls also had the top four individual performers: Marybeth Bellnap-153 (77,76 won in a playoff after sinking a birdie on the third playoff hole),
