Kavanaugh hearing forces Ted Cruz, Beto O'Rourke to postpone debate

A Sunday debate between U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and Democrat Beto O'Rourke has been postponed. Because of committee meetings and votes related to Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the Cruz campaign notified debate organizers that Cruz will remain in Washington, D.C. and will not be able to attend Sunday's debate at the University of Houston.
