HPD officer severely burned by suspected drunken driver 'still has a long ways to go'

On Dec. 23, John Daily, an officer for a year, sustainedsevere burns in adrunken driving crash while on duty. The 25-year-old has spent two months in Memorial Hermann's ICU and has had several surgeries.
