Houston man gets 16 years in federal carjacking, firearms case

The punishment for Sean Rodriguez, 35, includes about six and a half years for a kidnapping conviction and 10 years for a conviction of discharging a firearm during a crime of violence. The sentence, handed down by Chief U.S. District Judge Lee H. Rosenthal, will run consecutively, authorities said.
