Houston council weighs payouts in sewer cleaning gone wrong

On Feb. 5, Houston Public Works used motorized equipment to try to clear a sewer line in the southeast Houston neighborhood of Edgebrook. Two neighbors who share a back fence both sued the city, claiming the raw sewage backup that resulted caused damage to their homes and possessions.
