Houston city council OKs Harvey housing recovery program contracts

Houston City Council on Wednesday approved contract documents for a housing program that will reimburse homeowners for repairs made following Hurricane Harvey.
The program, funded with federal housing grant money via the Texas General Land Office, will reimburse homeowners for repair work and provide aid for home rehabilitation and reconstruction managed by the city or homeowner.
