HISD to backtrack: Interim superintendent expected to be reinstated

Houston Independent School District trustees are expected to announce Monday that interim superintendent Grenita Lathan will not be replaced, after all, as fallout continues from a contentious 5-4 vote last Thursday that was preceded by shouting matches and accusations of racism from board members.
