HCSO deputy dies from COVID-19

Another Harris County Sheriff’s deputy has died from COVID-19, the agency said Saturday.The deputy has not yet been identified because the agency is still contacting family members, a spokesman said.The first death in the sheriff’s office was Sgt. Raymond Scholwinski, 70, who died May 6. He was one of the first known coronavirus-related fatalities among Houston-area law enforcement agencies.
