Gov. Greg Abbott’s new campaign ad features victim of Sutherland Springs shooting

The two-minute ad, which is slated to run in every media market in Texas, features Julie Workman, whose son, Kris Workman, 35, was shot in the back and left paralyzed. Abbott, who was paralyzed from the waist down at the age of 26, visited the Workmans in the hospital after the shooting.
