Ex-Furr H.S. leader Bertie Simmons got $100,000 settlement

The settlement ends the nearly-year-long legal battle between Simmons and Houston officials, who determined the longtime school leader oversaw extensive misconduct at the eastside campus. Simmons has denied the allegations.
