Driver arrested after hit-and-run death at Westheimer crosswalk

A witness who stopped at the light saw the driver speed through the intersection in the 5800 block of Westheimer Road around 3:30 a.m., official said. The driver then hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk, killing them.
