Democratic trailblazer Diane Mosier, 69, dies

Diane Mosier, a powerful advocate and champion for the Democratic Party in Houston, died Friday. She was 69.
Mosier, a Beaumont native, attended Lamar University. She owned several companies before joining state Rep. Jessica Farrar’s office as a community liaison and most recently serving as a community aide for Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis.
