A Friday debate between the two Democratic candidates will occur as planned on Friday after details that had threatened to sidetrack the event were resolved, officials said Tuesday.Officials with the campaigns of former Dallas Sheriff Lupe Valdez and Houston entrepreneur, who face each other in a May 22 runoff, said the faceoff will be held from 7-8 p.m. at the St. James EpiscopalChurch, 1941 Webberville Road.Doors will open at 6 p.m.
