David Temple gets trial date: Timeline of 20-year-old Katy murder case

David Temple, the Alief Hastings High School football coach whose conviction for his wife's murder was overturned because of prosecutorial misconduct, is set for trial on Feb. 2, 2019, just over 20 years from the date of the notorious slaying.Although the trial date is set, it remains unclear whether he will be re-tried.
