DA to dismiss murder charge against Harris County deputy in strangulation case

Prosecutors said that after reviewing the evidence, they could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that former deputy Chauna Thompson had committed a crime in the death of John Hernandez outside the restaurant in Crosby.
