Corrections officer found shot to death on Brazoria County beach

A citizen found the body of 60-year-old Dennis Michael Taylor about 7:30 a.m. Thursday on an access point on the beach, a 13-mile stretch between Surfside Beach and San Luis Pass. Taylor was from Angleton.
