Conversation, movie screening on wrongful convictions at the Ensemble Theatre

The Ensemble Theatre was filled with dozens of people, including Congresswoman Sheila Jackson and former NFL Green Bay Packers player Christopher Darkins, on Wednesday for a conversation on wrongful convictions in the U.S. The event included a sneak peek for the movie Canal Street, which follows the fictional story of a young black man from Southside Chicago who was wrongfully convicted of murdering his white peer after moving to the rich suburb of Winnetka.
