Combination immunotherapy promising in incurable HPV-related cancers

MD Anderson Cancer Center researchers in Houston reported Thursday that a combination of a vaccine and drug shrank tumors in a third of patients whose (HPV) human papilloma virus-related cancers had recurred after chemotherapy and radiation. Such cancers historically haven't responded to follow-up treatment.
